No accidents, 13 miles in 20-30 minutes. And those are not highway miles so I have to deal with traffic lights, idiot pedestrians, etc.

about 15 miles. it usually takes me 35-40 minutes due to traffic and 35mph speed limits. there is another route that would only take me 25 minutes but i would have to pay $4 in tolls a day and use more gas as it is more miles

I am very stressed out by the time I get to work because of the AWFUL Houston traffic.
Oh gosh, I hear you on the horrible traffic in Houston. It sucks.

2.5 miles or about a seven minute drive from my apartment to the office using all local roads. Some of my coworkers live in an aparment right accross the street from the office so it is literally a two minute walk to work for them each morning.

I agree as long as you aren't driving a car that gets 8 mpg.

When I commuted from my home in NJ to my office in NYC, it was about 40 miles each way. It took me an hour and 45 minutes each way, an hour and a half on a great day, two or more hours when everything went to hell.

Right now I have a 15 miles commute give or take. It takes me about 25 minutes because most of it is through rural roads at 45 mph. But there's almost no traffic and it's a really pleasant drive.
