I have seen unemployment questions about the power of internships, networking, connections, who's hiring who, will a master's degree help, etc. I too feel like I am being given the run around by companies.

I think I have a solution: Crowdsourcing. If people who secure entry-level engineering jobs report how they received their jobs. The patterns exposed through the information can be used to show students successful career paths.

I set up a page at: ResumeIcons - Learning from Community
where people with entry-level engineering jobs can answer a few questions and help others in the process. Cool huh?

I submitted information about my entry-level job. If you want to help graduate clearly see the requirements to obtain jobs, let's work to build a helpful database. The questions take less than a minute or two.
