I doubt the legitimacy of the story. Not that their are not slimeballs that would do it, but the circumstances (underling took a picture of it) are questionable and it doesn't seem to be well supported with anything except an apparently anon twitter account, and the "wealthy banker" label seems a bit too staged.
I looked at the receipt closely, there's no place for the name on the card or a place blacked out that could have been the name. Looks staged to me.

Well this is one way people who are rich stay rich. Most wealthy people are very tight with there money, tip the minimum they can get by with. My in-laws know a wealthy couple and when they go out to eat, they always order something that is just as expensive as what my in-laws order and always want to split the check evenly.

Why to speed up the eventual revolution in this country. When enough people are suffering enough, that's when the country will begin to destablize with rioting and civil unrest. The lawyers and bankers will go first.

And we wonder why people can be so gullible, even after something has been exposed as a hoax.
Get with the update! Should we have the mod edit title with an asterik saying HOAX? People are embarassing themselves.
Ummm, we are talking about the person that perpetrated the hoax, right?
Um, gee, I don't know.
I'm drinking wine now after a long day, so my concentration ain't so great.
