Not fully mentally awake at 9:35 am also makes a great first impression!

Well what time should I wake up if I'm unemployed? 7am? Get in the shower and go back to bed? LOL

I get no credit for waking up at 9:55am? Not like I'm waking up at 1pm

No. You get no credit for having to set an alarm to get up at 10am.

Well I go to sleep between 2am and 4am so that's why it's set for 9:55am so I can have my 10am to 6pm shift of Job search related activities

You do realize that if you take the job, you will still be eligible for UI benefits right? It'll basically push your benefits back until the assignment ends. If the job is a 3 month job, you continue to file weekly stating are working and how much you make. You won't get benefits for every week you receive full pay from the temp agency. Once you are off assignment then you go back to filing your claim regularly.

Why wouldn't you take it if it is offered to you after the interview?

Wow is all I can say. You, my friend, are unemployed... and you are actually debating whether or not to accept a job interview. Talk about a lack of urgency - it sounds like you are just too comfortable. I hope it does not come back and bite you. The longer you are unemployed, the less employable you become.

About the lunch. You have to eat lunch anyway...so it really should not be much more of an expense.

BESIDES...YOU CAN KEEP LOOKING AND GET A BETTER JOB SOON BECAUSE YOU WILL BE EMPLOYED and as you know, employers like to see that.

You said it doesn't seem like too bad of an offer. TAKE IT. TAKE IT. If you said it was an awful offer, then that would be another issue. But you said it is not a bad offer. TAKE IT.
I couldn't have said this better myself.

OP, take the job, look for another one and eat ramen noodles for lunch.

Because it wasn't a position I was interested in but did email her a list of positions that I would be interested in and will accept $11.00 an hour.
