Oh Sol! Just two interviews in two and a half months, one speed interview, a turndown by you of an interview with someone in your field who was hiring but the job wasn't within your geographical parameters so you didn't go - and "false applications"? Not one job offer.

You can postulate and spout and pound your chest ad nauseam but the bottom line is exactly that. Two and a half months and counting and no job offer.

There should be a sticky at the top of this forum page titled, "Not finding a job? Read here for all the reasons you may be having a hard time!" followed by links to all of his posts in the last five years.
I second this!

@bob,

Agree with your cost of living post. The ramen noodle diet sucks

That diet does suck, and it is a self-inflicted direct result or the work history and frequent gaps.

I will call back tomorrow and ask for the "mystery lady" and see what happens.

Wouldn't common sense tell you to try to contact the man who you've already corresponded with?

When I called him on Tuesday he had the receptionist transfer me to lady. We only talked through email not on the phone which made his referral to the lady kind of weird. So why would I call back and ask for him again?

Ask for him, TVSG, It is HIS decision who he routes you to, and it may not be the same person all the time. Whoever he wants to take his calls will end up getting the call, and perhaps you'll get lucky, and he'll take it himself. That's the objective.

I will ask for him one more time and then after that I'm done. That will be my third attempt in 4 days and that's enough.

I really wish you would go back to finding a girl friend, all this job foolishness is getting quite boring.
