Most of us here are counting the days till we see the "My UI ran out, I don't have a job yet" post from TVSG.

We've read the "March is the month I'm going to get a job" post which turned into the "I won't work for $11 an hour" post which turned into the "If I don't have a job by March 2013 when my UI runs out I deserve to lose my UI" post.

Stay tuned.

Bring popcorn.

I am thinking more on the lines of "A company I never heard of sent me an email, they want to hire me and pay $20/hr and loads of benefits".

My last Tech Writer / Mech Eng interview - they said with my 5.75 years experience that $56,000 a year was way out of league. And I haven't been called to a 2nd interview. I passed their 11 min tech writing test too.
Yep, I'm about to accept a $45k a year job when I'm worth 2.5 times that. Desperate times for me. Back to mid-90's money, before all my experience and extra education. Just sad. It just sucks!!!

there are a lot of people without jobs. There are a whole lot more with jobs. A high unemployment rate doesn't mean everyone is poor and no one is working. This is not a difficult concept.

The larger question to the OP is:
Why, as an unemployed person, do you put down other unemployed people? They are your brothers and sisters. Are they not meeting your criteria in looking for a job?

Actually, it is. How are you devising your logic? Exactly how are you taking your idea from this?

Wrong. There are a ton of folks WITH jobs. They are most likely the ones in the freaking line.
