I'm 19 and looking for my first job but I have no idea how to get one with having prior work experience. I have nothing to put on a resume or cover letter cause I've been sitting on my ass up, playing videogames all day everyday since high-school. Now that I matured a bit and getting ready to go to college again, (dropped out of Uni before) I need money. So what sort of jobs should I look for? How to make a decent resume with absolutely nothing to put on it? Should I lie or something? What could I say to explain my years of not working/volunteering to make it look like I wasn't lazy/unambitious? (Even if it's true.) I can't stand being broke anymore.

Btw I'm in Milwaukee, WI.

Say you were helping family or traveling before starting school or something like that. Since you'll be looking at entry level jobs, it shouldn't be a problem. Just clean up, dress nice, smile and be polite. Put your best foot forward.
