They may be needed, but it's not like you see a glut of job openings posted everyday for funeral directors.

Special Education is another area where a few years ago, they were desperate for teachers, but everybody rushed to get a degree in this area and now there's a glut of candidates. However, it's still a high-turnover profession, so I guess that in itself will always create a need for people in this profession. That and the fact that Federal law mandates that students with disabilities are allowed the same opportunities to education as other students.

Plenty of jobs are available in the tax business... and you don't need experience or an expensive education. Just a little formal training is sufficient. By passing the Enrolled Agent exam, you have proven expertise to prepare all types of tax returns. Local firms headed by CPAs cannot find enough qualified staff tax preparers. A affordable online course is available at Enrolled Agent Exam Review and Study Guide that has a high success rate, keeps you enrolled in the training until you pass the exam, and even has free sample questions you can review without paying anything. Wages for tax preparers are generally higher than for many other popular job openings, such as medical assistants.

It's like some mantra drummed into the public. Well, get this mantra...Too many people got shown the way to healthcare. Jobs in healthcare are NOT based on kids getting in skateboard accidents. Even nonprofit hospitals have upper management trying to keep the money at the top.
I would disagree. Health care is something that is never going to be needed any less, and most likely more as obesity in America increases and general health declines as well. Many suburban and rural areas are even offering HUGE incentives for people to train to be doctors there or take jobs there. I know some schools offer to pay your medical schooling if you plan to take a job in that area (of course a contract must be signed).

In short, there's always going to be room for nurses, doctors, techs, therapists, etc.

Pizza delivery jobs, most of the time. As long as you have a decent car. You won't be competing with 16 year old kids who can't drive. No license = no job, and more importantly, no CLEAN license = no job. The best ones are where the company pays for gas (independent shops). The mainstream chains have you go through alot more red tape.

Some fields like healthcare, plumbing, electrician, mechanic, agriculture are always going to be needed because they can be outsourced. In general, fields where you have to be there to do the job and the job can't be done somewhere else and then transported. Some are very physical, some not.

Any field can become saturated but it doesn't mean there's no jobs.
