So very glad to hear this.

I was starting to get concerned, as we had not really heard from you. Now I know, all is GREAT!!!

Now, for some advice.

Don't stress yourself out about this new job when you start. You got it on your merits and you were hired because they like YOU. So, when ever you start to worry that maybe it won't last etc. (and you likely will...I know I did when I started my new job after being laid off 2 times in a row) just keep telling yourself that you are doing a good job, that they are telling you that you are doing a good job, and that your coworkers are telling you that you are doing a good job.

So happy for you. And those fabulous fur-babies.

Well, I always put pressure on myself when it comes to starting a new job...a "real" job, not some lame job like my last two part time jobs, (even though I did those 100%), because I want to shine and have them be so glad they hired me.

In the past few years, because of another job I held in Miami, I have learned a LOT that will go far in this job but I have new systems to learn...so I will be tough on myself to learn it well and fast. Plus, knowing how difficult it is to get work these days, there will be added pressure, so yah, a bit of stress to make sure I'm always doing better than expected.

The good thing about this place, is that there is room to move around, even advance. I like that. And I'm NOT sitting at a desk! Wahoo!

I just realized something...I have no idea how much I'm being paid. We have yet to discuss salary. I guess I'll ask that on Monday!

And yes, so relieved for my fur kids. SO. Relieved.

Me too. I'm sure your fur kids will be so happy to have you happier!

And, I almost forgot to ask salary when I got my job that got me off of UI after my lay off, so I totally get the moment.
