If a company wants someone in the morning to work and
you don't answer your phone you lose, and they will call someone else ! ! !
.
You do know that Teamsters Union is not normal right? Because if they were they would know that people are not always going to be accessible when called. So you should be glad you don't have to deal with them
Best of luck...maybe it is taking so long because it is an offer.....
Today no feedback once again, tomorrow is 12/12 which would make 2 weeks exactly. Well since Christmas is coming I guess the deadline is 12/21 which is the friday before christmas

Isn't that also supposed to be the end of the world?
Sorry. I just had to. And best of luck to you.
I am guessing the answer is yes, but have you followed up with them to see if they have made a decision?

I'd also hope that you're not putting all your eggs in one basket and that you haven't stopped applying elsewhere. Even if UE extensions are put in place at the last minute (and that's not a given by any stretch) it's likely that they'll be severely restricted/limited.

As thebunny said, I would also follow up by now. It may simply be a funding snag.

UC will be put in place so I;m not worrying about it.
The way it looks now, we'll go over the cliff at year end. House is scheduled to leave Friday, and my bet is, w/o huge progress in the next 24 hours, at latest they leave Monday.
You had said they made a verbal offer, so following up 2 weeks later will not seem out of line. What is the risk?

Reason: removed orphaned section
don't count on them to call you back, initiate things with you first, it's the law of averages
