Question mileage pay/labor board

i have been with a co. for over 3 weeks..i have over 548.00 due to me in mileage pay......they say they do it once a month....i still have not received sept. yet..........now i am leaving this co..due to some broken promises they made..now i have the mileage slip signed by boss and i have copy of them do i have enough to take this to labor board???do u really ever recover anything from labor board or is it just to vent and let the co. know u filed? my job description doesn't mention anything about mileage but we are all traveling so i didn't think to make it a specific request on my hourly agreed pay scale sheet i signed...now am i out of luck to ever see this.........i had a verbal contract with the boss on hired..She def. says mileage pay is included..thanks.

Sorry I cannot provide a definitive answer to this. I would suspect that the fact that your boss signed a mileage slip would indicate an intent to pay this on their part and the non-payment could be considered a clerical error they can remedy rather than a misunderstanding on your part. It might help if you could obtain documentation/affadavits from coworkers in the same job as you that have received mileage payments.
