My company has a policy that lets people leave early with out pay. Basically you send an email to the scheduling team of the time that you want to leave and if approved then you can go home without pay. Everyone in my dept works fulltime but some people work only 20 - 25 hours by LWOP. That seems pretty odd to me, every other company that i worked for you couldnt leave early unless you were sick or if it was really slow. LWOP is not guranteed though, sometime you put in two hours and only get approved for 15 minutes. Once your approved then you cant take it back you have to leave. Has anyone ever heard of something like this?
