I work 8-5, does that count? Are there really employers out there that still pay for your lunch break?

Anyhow... I get about 6 hours sleep per night during the week. Stay up to watch the news and Letterman monologue. Asleep by 12, up at 6. I do make up for it on weekends though, sleeping as late as 10. I would be always exhausted if I didn't get those recharges each weekend. :-)

Sadly because of my sickness I can't maintain life sustaining health without enough sleep. Also I need at least 2 hours per day that is not work and not chores. If I don't end up getting enough sleep then I literally pass out at work, normally a hour before lunch. So Either being a little late or passing out, I do not work 9-5 all the time. Luckily I'm pretty damn good at my work so after the initial shock every employer ended up being okay with it... I'll make up some time over the weekends if needed too.

In bed around 10pm
Up at 5:30am

Been doing this for about 5 years now.

I do sleep in on the weekends or untill the kids wake me up. Before I had a family, I would go to sleep around 1am-ish on average. A couple of times I would go to sleep around 4am after leaving the night club, just to wake up about an hour or two later to make it to work. Even worse, I would leave the club at 5am(before closing), go home, take a shower, get dressed, then go to work. Zero sleep.

This was the single life of being stationed overseas.

Default Depends

I try not to be up past 10, I try to schedule going to sleep around 8:30 unless I need to help my daughter with her homework if she has any, or if I have homework, or if there is class to attend to, or whatnot. Sometimes I am up around 4 to go exercise, sometimes I wake up around 6:45. Really depends, but I rarely stay up past 10

I'm so jealous of people that only need 5 or 6 hours of sleep a night. 8 is my ideal, but I can be okay on 7 though I'm tired when I get home. I work 8:30 to 5. Home by 5:20...I walk to work normally as it's less than a mile. I used to spend almost 2 hours a day commuting and I'm a MUCH happier person without that stress! 11:30 is usually the latest I ever go to bed. Sometimes I'll come home and doze on the couch for awhile then head to the gym around 8 or 9. I don't think most people get enough sleep. I just feel awful when I don't get enough. My stomach gets upset and I just feel awful and sick.

That's what I want to aim for, 6 hours of sleep and then make up for it on the weekends

Hate to disappoint you but scientific studies have proven many times over that you cannot "make up" for lack of sleep (what's called "sleep debt") by sleeping in on the weekends. Here's a representative article from Scientific American:
