Yes, but are they in the form of reward points at major retail establishments, or liquid asset?

I know salary has the perk of getting paid while not at work but I don't miss enough time to care about that. That being said I don't see any real benefit to a salaried job.

To each their own...
I rarely keep it under 40 hours a week. But that is built in to my base pay. So I get it no matter what. And as others have pointed out, I have a lot of flexibility. Need a few hours for an appointment, no problem. The paid time off doesn't hurt either.

I used to think getting paid semi-monthly was a bad thing but maybe not so much anymore
Um, you seriously could not figure this out for yourself? Did you not realize that there are 14 days in 2 weeks instead of 15?

I like getting paid bi-weekly. My budget (mortgage, house account, savings, etc.) is based on 2 paychecks, so that third one twice a year is like a bonus.

I get paid once a month! A lot of my coworkers act like it is a bad thing, but if you learn to budget properly it doesn't matter.

Because 6% of 400 is one heck of a lot easier than to figure out 6% of 522.13. Sheesh.

I get paid weekly, and I base my budget on the 4 week months...love the ones with 5. They are like a bonus.

He said 99% of employed people in america should have 6 months worth of savings and I said I refuse to respond because it's ridiculous.
