Video Webcam Inteviews..is this the new thing?

I had an in-person interview that was videotaped (1998).

That was weird.

I didn't get the job.

I know some folks don't act natural when they're being taped.

Prob'ly why cameras should never be allowed at bachelor parties.

I interviewed for my current job via Cisco TelePresence. It should be embraced as the work environment becomes more virtualized. This is a big reason why I can work from anywhere in the country.

I get that it's not the same as a phone or f2f interview but I'm not sure why you are "shocked and appalled".
