MUST BE 55 YEARS OR OLDER TO BE CONSIDERED.
So basically, they just opened themselves up to age discrimination lawsuits from everyone that's between the age of 40 and 55.

age discrimination doesn't work in that direction, even if everyone involved is over 40.

Age Discrimination

Quote:
It is not illegal for an employer or other covered entity to favor an older worker over a younger one, even if both workers are age 40 or older.

That's a fancypants requirement for what looks like a chemical plant inspector position.
There are office positions that offer the same pay w/o exposing yourself to dangerous chemicals.
Good God.

yeah, it's a specific nonprofit program that finds jobs for seniors.

the pay is still sad, though.

here's my favorite job with a ridiculous pay scale, ie NO pay for a position that is basically 3 or 4 full time, skilled jobs - i love it so much i saved it off of craigslist!
