It depends what direction you want to go because not all marketing jobs require the same skills, and what's considered a marketing function varies by company. I do mostly writing, only about 5% of my job involves math and that's mostly typing division into Excel. I also know people who are graphic designers, or who mostly do PR whose jobs also fall under the marketing umbrella. There are also people who deal mostly with strategy, and others whose jobs are heavily math-oriented. Actually, most of the people I know who work in marketing don't have a marketing or business degree, but do have a degree that's related to their actual function in marketing.

I guess I'll have to get a low paying menial labor job because I made the 8th percentile on my PSATs in math.

I might go into IT, but that requires math, too. I guess I'm out of luck.

Do you not actually read what other people post? No one said you are stuck with a low-paying job. I said the opposite, in fact.

Best way to know what classes are required is look on the schools website which should list the degree programs and the required classes. You will likely have algebra and statistics though. If you are rusty or need to prepare for these classes go to https://www.khanacademy.org/ for free classes.

I would say I'm good at understanding how to do the algebra problems, I'm just not good at putting it into practice without help.
