If you have sick time, and feel like you really cannot function, then use it. Depending on the employer, you may or may not be required to have a doctors excuse for "sick" days. Not sure which state you are in, but in California, the employee is not required to give a reason why they are calling in. And the employer may not ask for details.

It's our policy not to ask for details, if someone wants to use PTO for any reason, but we are not in retail where paid sick leave is rare and companies depend on people to be there to handle the customers.
Drink some coffee or down one of those 5 hour "pick-up" potions and get yourself into work!
I used to drink those little 5 hour energy bottles in college while studying. They keep you awake, but man is that stuff nasty! Tastes like cough syrup. Blachh!!

Can't remember the brand name of the ones I've used recently but they're fruity and taste very good! What I really like about them is that they do only last about 5 hours, there's no crazy "rush" one usually gets from a heavy dose of caffeine and, more than anything else, you get a good night's sleep after the effect wears off. I can't even sip on a coffee after noontime or I'm up and restless half the night but these work beautifully when I have a dinner date. I'm usually up around 5:30 so by the time 7 or 8 comes around I'm cooked!
I remember once going into work on 2 hours of sleep because I just couldn't sleep. Found out it must have been caffeine in the aspirin I had taken that night. Then I ended up taking some new kind of sinus medicine early in the morning. I took 2 pills because that's the usual dose for most meds. Wrong! It was only one pill. I felt like I was drunk when I went to work that day. I hoped that no one noticed and thought I was drunk. It was that bad. Was happy when the meds wore off a few hours later, but what a long day that was.
I've called in sick for that reason before - and I really do get sick if I'm up all night. I get nausea, diarrhea, stomach pains and head aches from sleeplessness. "Sick" doesn't have to mean viral illness.
I'd still go in for a while if I were you, though. You'll probably sleep better after a day's work.
In my experience, worrying about going to work with little to no sleep is worse than actually doing it. It'll suck, but one night without sleep won't kill you.
