Hasn't it been proven that not working your employees to death increases productivity, profit and the general wellbeing of a company and its workers?

So why is it so wrong that millennials want to follow the practices that other companies have, that have been successful? In most European countries, they get a month of paid vacation. We'd be lucky to get 2 weeks.

The term "workaholic" by its nature denotes dysfunction. "Workaholism" is not the same as a good work ethic.

No kidding.

Here's an idea: regardless of your age, learn to work with people of different ages and backgrounds and stop complaining that everyone isn't exactly like you.

agreed! If I hear one more person say I am entitled, coddled, lazy, etc. simply because of the year in which I was born...

This. Also, understand each generation is different! One day the millenials will be the leaders - so show us a little respect and understanding!

I am a generation X baby, one thing I can't stand about older generation worker's is judging you for job hopping. I was laid off last May since then turned down two job offers for higher paying work. Left one job to take an opportunity for another higher paying job and still looking for work.

Actually every day 9-11,000 baby boomers retire. It's nearly one every 7 seconds. The stock market is quite high at more then double what it was in 2009, oil and gas prices are where they were in 2009, rock bottom interest rates, unemployment rate went down, housing stabilized etc. If you cannot retire in good times just when are you going to retire?
