Congrats.

I know someone that had such a hard time finding a job out of college, he told me that he literally started crying and thanked the Lord when he saw a email that was subjected "Congratulations! Job Offer!"

It turned out to be a commission only, multilevel marketing, life insurance sales scheme. Saying he was disappointed would be a vast understatement.

Congrats! This just shows that persistence pays off. This is a tough climate to say the least. My older brother was laid off 10 months ago and at age 55 I knew that finding another job would be an uphill battle for him. He kept at it, never gave up and starts his new job this Friday after a nationwide search. I'm really proud of him.

Good luck to you!

How do they know your age from your resume?

Most employers ask for employment dates and when you graduated from school on their applications. That's how they can figure your age.
