hi everyone! i would like some help regarding marketing and management degrees.
here are some things about me:
-I'm about to graduate high school in like 6 months
-I love talking to people and meeting new people
-I like organizing and and being a leader
-I'm creative
-I want to own my own business someday like a restaurant, a hotel, and a clothing store
-i like buying stuff and reselling them

bottom line is, i really don't know which career i should major in, i mean i wanna major and minor in one actually but idk if id be able to pay it off, i mean I've never had a real job and after high school I'll leave town to go to a city and go to college and live with my bf, but yeah after I graduate college(planning on getting a bachelors) I plan on going to a big city and live there, like New York for example, I'm so torn on which degree I should pursue because some people say that both degrees are pretty much worthless

thanks for the help and i hope i gave out enough information

Keep in mind -- you're not majoring in a career, you are majoring in a field of study. Many people study one field and have a career path that is something entirely different than their studies. ie.) I have a couple of past English major friends, one is in marketing and another is doing financial planning sales. Also, no degree is worthless. Every degree is a product of the person receiving it and it is up to you to put yourself into a good position by taking on internships, keeping a decent GPA. I suggest working through school though, because I think it can help with time management, looks good to have held some form of a job, and many people can use that position for full time employment (a friend of mine who got a history degree used her parttime job at Target to get into their store management program upon graduation).

I wouldn't major in management unless I included a specialty in human resources or operations. I feel like there is a problem with opportunities when your major is both too broad or too specialized; however, having a general specialty might help. It also seems like maybe you could do hotel tourism/hospitality management as well, given your interests. Management is a dime a dozen business degree and is often on the list of degrees with which people are most underemployed, so I'd definitely try a specialty of some sort to differentiate myself from the crowd.

Also, what I would do is start school with taking your general studies requirements courses and an economics course. I would see what I like and after taking a few business pre-requisites, I would assess if it is what I enjoy or if I'd rather study something else. Also, many people can get a major and a minor within four years without spending any additional money.

'Management' isn't a career. Management of something is a career. You can't have a career as simply a manager. You will be a manager of marketing, manager of finance, manager of technology, etc. You need to find out what actual job you want to do, then work to become a manager at that job function.
