And in my opinion you're completely wrong. Her responsibility was to alert her supervisor/the manager on duty. As good as her intentions may have been, she stepped way out of line and her dismissal was warranted.

"None of our business", really? Even here? Good grief.

Breastfeeding while drinking excessive amounts of alcohol (the article says she saw the mother consume "a high number of alcoholic beverages") = evidence you are passing harmful amounts of it to your baby = justification for someone to call the cops on you. Or is the problem ignorance of what alcohol can do to a baby's development? Either way, it's no excuse.

Why don't we just let go of all the laws out there to protect children? After all, it's none of our business what someone else does with their property!
