I'm 58,have lost my job of 30 years as an optometrist(one I never really identified with) and I am an INTP. Being late in the game I am desperate for ideas for work that fit the INTP profile that don't require further education.

ANY ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I think your best bet is to get another optometrist job and bide your time until retirement. This is not a good job market for career changers your resume will get shredded.

Go apply for other optometrist positions or even open up your own practice? Optometrist make a lot money selling glasses and lens at crazy mark ups.

Their latest racket is the "Eye Wellness Exam" where they charge you $39 to take a few pictures of your eye. It literally takes them less than a minute and they barely look at the results.
