Have you ever had a job where you had to wear formals most of the time? I hate doing it. I wish I could work in flip flops and casual tees. Like people in Hawaii would do. I just feel very uncomfortable in an office environment.
Formals? You wear a tuxedo daily? Do you work on somebody's private yacht as a sommelier?
If you mean business casual (pants and dress shirt) or the requirement is for suit and tie, what's the big deal? Get dressed in the morning and go to work. Unless the dress code is inappropriate for the job ( Enterprise car rentals comes to mind) I don't see the problem. Wearing nice clothes is not a burden.
