edit: I'm sorry all, I posted this in the wrong forum.
My BYE was just up and I filed a new claim in Maryland. Because I had worked this year, combined with the timing of my filing, the last 2 quarters of 2012 were included in my standard base period.
I received my determination for monetary eligibility today, and it looks like this:
7/01/2012 to 9/30/2012 - $8387
10/01/2012 to 12/31/2012 - $8481
01/01/2013 to 3/31/2013 - $1425
04/01/2013 to 6/30/2013 - $987
Now, the reason I would like to dispute, is I looked through my bank statements, and due to the end of September 2012 being on a Sunday, we were paid the following Monday. (It is worth noting that I have a copy of my employee handbook that states the policy to pay us Monday if the end of the month falls on a Sunday.)
Essentially, one of my paychecks should have been included in the 10/01/2012 to 12/31/2012 quarter, giving me a slightly higher WBA (in these tough times, every dollar counts, and I believe this error could have cost me as much as $200 a month, a nice chunk of change to my household.)
This information from a PDF on the MD DLLR website is what has made me believe I should win a dispute:
How do I complete my contribution return and employment reports?
All gross wages paid must be reported when paid, not earned. Gross wages include all remuneration for personal services, including commissions and bonuses and the cash value of all compensation in any medium other than cash.
I am most likely going to call DLLR and request my dispute tomorrow, I mostly wanted to post my issue here to gather some input and suggestions to guide me along the way.
Thank you for your help!
