I have within the last 5 months, scored a handful of really good interviews that I was sure I would get. I literally expected an offer within a week, but it didn't happen.
It makes me paranoid. I wonder whether there's something that comes up in my background check that's making me look bad.
I don't have any felonies. I maintain good credit.
What else could it be?
Add to this any social media and there have been numerous people get fired or have lawsuits reversed because of posts on any social media and a significant amount have been from Facebook.
You obviously got wrong impression and have no idea what you were competing with. Maybe more experience or good references better than yours from past employers. All you can do is move on. Avoid critizing on public media for sure unless you want others to know even co-workers.
