I interviewed on Monday and sent out thank you emails to interviewers as soon as I got home (it was a quite late night). And, one partner replied me back the next day in the morning and said:

I enjoyed meeting you and look foward to seeing you in the future.

Is this a good sign?

It certainly isn't bad. I'd say it's a good sign. I never replied to those emails to keep it consistent but this sounds positive.

It was a nice gesture on the part of the partner who responded. ("Yes Virginia, there ARE polite people out there"!) It's a good sign but, until you have a firm offer, it means nothing at all. Good luck!

It means nothing. That was a polite but non-committal response. Looking forward to seeing you again could mean that you will get an offer, but more likely, you may get another interview, he knows you were not selected but expects you to apply again for a future opening, or he hopes to run into you in the store. Too many people become hopeful and over-confident from this kind of thing, or even just from the way they did on the interview, but with 30, 50, or 100 applicants for any job you have to be the best, and the odds are low. Better to keep applying and be pleasantly surprised, rather than count on getting the job and being disappointed. Good luck though, I hope you do get it.

Actually I would take that as a good sign. Typically when I send out thank you emails I dont get any response. Its only follow up emails with requests for feedback that I hear a response.

I've had people respond to me in the past and I didn't get the job. I also had people respond to me and I DID get the job. There's no right or wrong answer here haha, it really depends on the person.. if they are nice to take the time out to write back, they'll write back regardless if you really got the offer or not
