So I received an email from a company I applied at last week. They said they were doing 20-30 minute informational meetings this week with top prospects. I've seen some information about what they are, but never first hand accounts from people I know. It's for an Office Coordinator/Receptionist position, and I'm really not sure what to expect. If anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated!
Well that's what I would assume, but everything I've googled says it's in no way an interview and it's almost always set up by people who want to get to know the company. I can't really find anything about it being the other way around. I'm wondering if since this is for a "Front of house/First person people see" type of position if it's a way to weed out those who don't make a good first visual impression without having to go through and interview everyone. It's over a three day period set up in 4 hour blocks each time.
That's not the part that's odd to me. Mostly it was, 'Here are the times we are able to do this, pick one of those blocks and we'll confirm the actual time that's in that block'.
But still... I can't find anything about it except for it being in reverse - the potential candidate requesting one with the company.
