Still no change in the status. I'm gonna assume I got dinged by a human.

I would rather be homeless than apply for any job connected to Taleo

don't not mess with Taleo applications for employment. Network or find jobs that only require you to email your resume

Seems like 2/3 of major corporations use taleo

Sorry to hear that, but you're one rejection closer to getting a job!

May I ask what is wrong Taleo? I'm assuming the company just wasn't too thrilled about my qualifications vs Taleo somehow compromising my credentials. Or is it that Taleo filters out the "unwanted"? I was 'under consideration' so I'm not really sure.

Taleo seems to waste job seekers time

Have Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) Ruined Job Search?

I have received plenty of interviews after applying through Taleo. Sometimes it is a black hole, other times it is not. If you can find "another way", which is possible but not always easy, go for it. Any foot in the door is better. If not, what do you really have to lose other than a little bit of time? Most Taleo applications are <20 minutes, especially once you've been through them a few times. Results may vary, of course.
