There's a ton of phrases that come to mind... here's just a few:

resource action = laid off = fired
global resourcing = global delivery = outsourcing
dropped the ball = made a big mistake

any reference at all to the "pipeline" Egads, I am so sick of hearing about what's in the pipeline, what's heading down the pipeline, etc

We pay a little less, but you can make it up in bonuses if you meet these unachievable goals.
