That's what I'm getting from this.
yup sears did that but they told me today they would change my schedule if it meant i could stay. I just don't want to have to worry about a schedule conflict again. And yes i currently work at ross have been. and yes, sears was a second part time job. i went into sears today and then they said i have to take 20 hrs of online tests and i had the worse test anxiety in college and I'm like, i can't do all this testing again and cause my self more anxiety. i don't want to be that crazy guy on the news....

so i hope me telling the ppl at sears my anxiety was causing me to not pass the tests and the scheduling was too hectic was understandable enough and thats all there is to it. i told them I'm sry and they don't need to pay me.

but Ross is my comfort zone and i don't have to worry about scheduling conflicts, tests, or getting up early now. if my car breaks down, i could bike to ross.

Sears is not a real sales job, its just customer service.

Here's the advice....

Keep the job you like! Why on earth are you sooo stressed over a job? Good grief. It's RETAIL!! It's not like you're a prison guard at Sing Sing or Gitmo. Then you'd have a reason to stress. Seriously. Chill out. It's a flipping mall job. Not rocket science.

You should be selling cars or something. You are working for peanuts.... Why did you go to college again?

yeah it's true. making $9.50 an hour isn't much. but in this economy and living in a smaller area, it's the best I could get. I got offered a better paying sales job in Morgan Hill, CA, but living on my own and being away from my mom and the high cost of living would make me still be at peanuts. That job would pay $40,000-$50,000 a year.

right now I just need retail experience and eventually management experience. down the road, I may drop ross and go sell cars. but ross is 5 minutes from where i live right now, so its do able.
