I'm studying Accounting, and looking for an internship in the summer.
I looked around some of the job listing on Craigslist, and I see that all
of them require at least +2 years of accounting experience or a Bachelor
degree or even a CPA.
What can I do now to strengthen myself so that I can land an internship
or a part time job related to Accounting?
Does your accounting department have any resources and connections with the local accounting industry? That would be a good place to start networking. Also your university career center.
Most of the internships offered through my Uni were guaranteed to land you a full time position if you were good. Its kinda hard to break into this field through non traditional means (internships.)
Can you find some part-time bookkeeping jobs or volunteer as treasurer for a school club?
No don't do this. Accounting isn't bookkeeping anymore and the only place youll find a "bookkeeping" job is with your local church. An internship in tax or audit is the only thing the employers will be looking for in your application.

Bookkeeping is a good way to learn some general accounting, but with advances in bookkeeping software a conscientious high school degree person can do the job.
You want to intern as a staff accountant somewhere.
I would hit up your University's accounting organization/club and your university career center should have internship, summer job/part time job postings. And yes you should absolutely have some sort of work experience prior to graduating (applicable to all majors really). Know now that "entry level" often means "must have 2-3 years of experience in X".
