"But still" nothing. If the employee was off the clock on their lunch break they are on their OWN time, and if they want to catch a few winks of sleep in that time, that is their own damn business.

I had 2 jobs from 2003 to 2013. One was 8 AM to 5 PM and the other was 5 PM to 11 PM (the job locations were right down the street from each other). Thankfully, that night job was seasonal. I took quite a few naps in my car over my lunch hour on my day job, with the alarm set on my phone so I wouldn't oversleep.

You are right though,very few people can truly work nights.
Don't go into any profession or job that requires 24/7

I was offered a Night Shift Help Desk job that pays quite well but declined it because at some point night shift gets really annoying and destroys your soul.

There are plenty of IT jobs that are day and 9 to 5 too bad some of them don't pay as much as night shift
