The store I work at got rid of the $25 gift card program this year (along with the pension plan, and benefits for part timers) The replacement was a 15% off coupon for a single grocery order.

My other job is working IT for a start-up and we can barely keep the lights on yet alone give out any bonuses.

Both jobs I work are basically dead-end loosing propositions but I'm grateful to be employed at all.
