Does anyone know jobs or companies where it is easy to get a transfer to another state?

Those are two basic approaches: the useful job skill or the large/broad company.

Either can work well enough.
The timing is the difficult part.

In the medical field or restaurant industry are two that come to mind.

Well if you are asking just so you can get a job at one place and then want to transfer, I am quite sure the company would tell you no....

Even companies that have jobs in other areas besides yours require you to be on the job for a certain amount of time and also need a job at the other place to be open... You just can't transfer anywhere anytime...

Moreover, licensed practitioners in the medical field (physicians, nurses) have to become licensed in each state they practice in. In some states, that process can take up to 6 months or more.

Nope. It doesn't work that way at that level.

otoh... if you had other good reason to move somewhere
and the jc penny, walgreens, burger king ect in THAT place needed help...
already being trained up and experienced gives some advantage.

Walmart. One reason I like working for them. You have to be employed for X amount of time, which I don't remember right now. I could transfer now, if I wanted to and have thought about it. You'll never be able to get a job with any large corporation and transfer right away, unless you have some VERY special circumstances/talents/abilities.

If you are looking in retail, apply in a state you want to live. Unless you are very high up transfers are rarely paid for.

Fields that need to have personnel onsite. Think plumbers, nurses, paramedics, teachers, and law enforcement.
