i'm 25, male, single, with a ba, and a couple years experience in events.
here's the list;
poet, libertine/woman seducer, non fiction/fiction writer, military general, infantry man, president, u.n. secretary general, campaign manager, head of projects at bleeding edge technology firm, biogerontologist, antarctica explorer/colonizer, mars colonizer, moon visitor/flag planter, head at large library, singer (i'm a decent singer and i love music), revolutionary (unite a block of countries and rule over them), chief justice, banker/taxman, small scale farmer, property owner/developer/leaser, clergyman, advertising, guerilla fighter, stadium owner, game lounge owner, race car rally driver, professional athlete, surgeon, transportation engineer.
how realistic are any of these paths, and maybe i'm leaving out something that i should consider? i don't mind going back to school, but nothing too extensive at this point. 3/4 years max. no more school by the time i'm 30..well, until i go after my "hobby ph.d" (ie, something to do after i get the career off and running..)
i want to be the best in my chosen field, whatever it is, and i trust that money won't be an issue if i'm truly great at what i do. how do i narrow it down a bit? or consolidate the similar paths into one?
Trying doing jobs you would hate to do first so you appreciate your dream job more.
My top three worse jobs, emptying the used tampon boxes in public bathroom, selling Electrolux Vacuums door to door and as a lab assistant killing and red bagging lab animals.
Singer...that is where someone can do the least amount of damage with the professions on your list...and don't ask me WHY, but I think given your age and that list we should take the risk out of the equation for the benefit of mankind in general.
You forgot your soon to be reality: barista at Starbucks
