I suppose that that's at the root of the problem: Managers figure that they can get away with this kind of thing because so many Americans care so little about anything other than what affects themselves directly. The idea that people may care about others around them seems to be dying.

um, if a person gets burnt badly by some hot grease and they are dumb enough to listen when a mgr tells them to put mayo on it and they'll be ok.... then i dont really feel sorry for em

i dont even believe the shhh anyways

the complaints to osha were filed by the $15/hr gimme-group

mcd arent idiots, they as a company or the individual franchise owners

nothing to see here folks...

As someone who spent a lot of time working in the low wage service sector I can tell you these places do a lot of shady and corrupt things.
