I've applied for a job a few weeks ago and I noticed the date changed to today's date. It used to be 04/05/15 but it's 05/01/15 now.

Submission Status: Completed – Updated: (5/1/15)

Does this mean anything in particular like they chose you for an interview or a hidden ding?

What about for job listings that haven't closed? I applied to a job yesterday that was originally posted a week ago. The date changed to today.
