Employment and having a record. I'm already hired but I'm a temp employee for permanent hire I'll need a background check and I have misdemeanors. I've grown from my mistakes and am not the same person. How to approach the manager I already am a little bit comfortable with him just don't know how to go about it. Thanks for the input.

Is your manager actually the hiring authority? I wouldn't mention it at all. Depending on what the misdemeanors are and what the position is, it may not be a big deal, or it may be a permanent disqualifier that no amount of begging and pleading is going to change. I would wait and see if they mention it.
