It's a five minute drive for me.

A 3 to 4 minute walk - live 400 metres away from work.

Once upon a time, I lived in the city with lots of traffic, and I got sick of the long drive to work. So, I moved closer to the office. At that point, I could drive to work in 90 seconds or so.

I don't work from home, but my work location is about 30 yds from the house. Can't beat that commute unless you work from home.

About 20-25 minutes.

I used to commute 1.5 hr's each way for years and I worked from home for years. The current 15 miles is a happy medium!

For several years I worked from home. Then I took a job 35 miles away that was anywhere from an hour to 90 minutes (not in winter). After 3 months I moved closer. My goal all along was to move to the area of Chicago I live in now, so it was really exciting to get a great job exactly where I wanted to be. If I drive it would take about 10 minutes each way, but I am trying to be more physically active (bought a fitbit) so I walk partway and bus the rest. My goal is to be able to walk the whole way. It's about 2 miles.

It depends on what time of the day it is.
To go the 23 miles to work at 5:00 AM is a 1/2 hour because the flow of traffic is doing the speed limit or above. Once you get up to between 7:00 and 9:00 AM, 1 hour to 1 1/2.

If it's between 3:00 and 6:00 PM , it could take 1 1/2 hours if there's no accident and if there is one, count on 2 hours to get home. Traffic doesn't thin out until about 6:30 to 7:00 PM
If a person gets killed in an accident and they close the freeway down to investigate, you might as well get off the freeway and go have dinner and see a movie because the freeway will be in a lockdown mode.

It takes me 25 min driving go to downtown, find a parking spot. Then wait 10 min for me bus to arrive, is takes me 15 to 25 min to go my stop.
Then I wait 15 to 25 min to MY bus to arrive and then I start my job ( bus operator).
So it takes me over 1 hour to get my job.
