I struggle with this because I have a toddler who doesn't always like to sleep through the night.

Chewing gum helps me stay awake, as well as taking mini breaks to catch up with co-workers. I also try to get up to stretch, drink water and go for a five minute walk helps.

Every few hours I take a 10 min mental break from work and do stuff like check the news, facebook, etc. whatever so I can refresh my mind. When it's busy and I can't take a lunch break or have to eat it while working, I'll stretch that to 15-20 mins every few hours.
