We're in a small town now and it looks like the nearest pool of jobs is a 50 mile commute one way...I've done the commuting thing in the past and also feel that is a couple of hours driving that could best be used more constructively.
I did some searching on here and saw some ideas,but most of the work from home things ranged from 'maybe' jobs,things that depended on selling or drumming up your own work such as selling,freelance,dog walker etc...to more involved career things such as webmaster,consulting,teacher,CPA,engineer,or broker...
So far I'm down to customer service,I'm not that great at talking to people but that seems to be one of the only things that I can qualify for at the moment...and that's even before I've actually applied;
