WINDER, Ga. — Four black former employees of a north Georgia restaurant say they were unfairly strip searched by white managers and that three of them were fired after they complained.
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed a lawsuit on their behalf, seeking back wages plus interest.
As a former fast food manager. I ran into this situation numerous time. Even when I saw an employee on camera stealing, I had no right except for to call the authorities. Firing wasn't an option without following company procedures if not caught in act. We followed three strikes rule or forced employee to quit by removing them from register and putting them on line or drastically reducing their hours.
I feel for both sides, because they're two sides to every story.
