So we were just told we are going to this work schedule for 3 months. This will be overtime, but its the 12 hr days plus 1 hr lunch and drive to and from site.
Thoughts, discuss.

For three months, I might do it if I generally liked the job and needed the money. I wouldn't work this schedule consistently.

I don't see what there is to discuss.
Either you do it, or you don't.

My minimum fee for doing that would be $10K per week. That's only $120 per hour.

Otherwise, leave.

Manly, very tough way to think of it.

Serious management shortcomings. From experience. The microcosm of the macrocosm. But, what can you do? Personally, I would scam FMLA if I could.
Unless you are going to save a child from a burning car, or stop this weeks
wacko shoot 'em up, there is nothing that important that requires essentially
wrecking a group of peoples lives for 3 months. Six years from retirement, I
wish I knew earlier the futility and colossal waste of time rearranging my life
so other people can prosper was . . .

Are you salaried or are you hourly? If I was being paid for the overtime, then I probably would be fine with doing it for a short time.

Even if salaried, I think they would be looking at how to compensate folks for the effort (some kind of bonus perhaps). Look at this from a big picture perspective. How might this project benefit you both short term and long term.

You discuss. What issues do you have? What kind of work is this? What are your thoughts?

Agreed. That's a pretty broad question. Without more details/context.
