If I like the product, I buy it..no matter where it is made. I do not buy squat to please the workforce. I buy for my benefit only.

And tariffs, Thank God, won't happen. Competition is great.
Buy the product but you have to pay the true cost. We can't encumber domestic manufacturers with all sorts of labor, union, health and environmental laws only to leave the back door open for them to leave, make it somewhere else and bring it back here so you can buy it for a dollar less. Sorry, that gravy train is about to come to a screeching halt.

You seem pretty sure of this, is this wishful thinking or do you know something we dont?

Competition with people of a similar standard of living is great, competition with slave labor is a legalized atrocity.

I am sure. There is no turning back from global competition. Tariffs are from previous centuries, not the 21st.

LOL! It is wishful thinking on your part. Globalization will continue growing..with more emerging labor sources, and more markets for us to sell to. Even pols doing lip service about it are aware they are just duping those who wish to reverse time.

World trade can and does collapse, as history tells us.

WTH kind of explanation is that?

There is no precedent for today. That means the party can never end

All this means is that a global trade collapse would be an even bigger problem for everyone. The stakes get that much higher. That's it.
