You are told that an offer is coming. Offer (A) is taking a very long time- let's say 2 months.
In the meantime, you are asked to interview elsewhere (B). Offer A comes through. You have your interview the following week at (B.)
What do you think about accepting offer A and continuing to interview at B? If you get an offer from B and B's offer is much better, do you think it is immoral to turn down A after you have signed their offer?
I personally would have said yes years ago. But seeing how companies operate and how your interest is not in the slightest on their mind, I am conflicted about my viewpoint. My viewpoint is limited to my own company, not company A.

Thoughts?
Do whatever is best for your own interests, that is how most if not all businesses operate. Accept offer A, if you get an offer from B and it is better than A, quit A and accept B's offer. It's life. I see nothing wrong with it.
But then I am unemployed, so take my advice with a grain of salt...

Companies and people will take back an offer without giving notice. Happened to me before. Sat there waiting for job date and waiting and waiting. Now I learn you are just a number.
Nope, happens more often than you think. Just the way of business. Always look out for your own self-interest because employees are expendable. I would feel a little guilty though, but it would pass pretty quickly.

It happens, and there is no issue about morality. Business is business, and when it comes to you livelihood, you do what's best for you regardless of the minor inconvenience to another employer.
