I get up around 5am these days. I get ready and leave by 6am. My job is all the way in Bensonhurst so I have to go through Manhattan to avoid taking four trains. I get there by 8 to prep before the kids arrive.

I leave work around 3:30pm.

I leave at 3:45

what time do you get to work? 4:25

What time do you leave work/get home?

I leave work at 2:30pm. If I drive straight home I'll get home round 3:15.

I do admin work in a 24/7 hr environment. Their 1st shift starts insanely early, and I am not a morning person. However, my position is only first shift.

Now that it's sunny later - it's hard for me to go to sleep when it's sunny. I can.. I'm such a heavy sleeper (hence the two alarms) I just don't want to! LOL. I want to enjoy the nice weather when it's here. If I wanted to get 8 hrs of sleep.. I should be in bed by 7... typically in bed between 9-10.

This is a fun snapshot into people's lives
I'm a bit unusual and have absolutely no routine...sort or a serial entrepreneur/self-employed and I kinda have what I consider 1 full-time job and 3 part-time jobs. Also have a 7-month old. I don't think I will survive if I don't cut back some of my work in the next 6 months or so. Anyway...

What time do you get up?

Depends on the day, but it is usually between 7:30a and 9a

What time do you leave the house?

Generally no earlier than 10:30a...occasionally will have an appointment earlier than that. Some days (though pretty rare now) I never have to leave.

what time do you get to work?

As soon as I wake up. Usually spend between 15 to 45 min answering emails/returning phone calls to start the morning.

What time do you leave work/get home?

Never. I have 100% work-life blending. In the past I used to work pretty hardcore the last few hours before sleep (11p-1a or midnight-2a, whatever it might be) but these days I've toned it down. I still often do work at night but it's usually far less intense stuff that I can do while I'm relaxed, watching tv, etc. And these days I usually quit by midnight-ish.

Where are you folks at that you are doing 90+ minute commutes for more than a short term? Horrible.

8:00 AM - wake up, shower, eat.

8:30-8:40 - leave for work.

9:00-6:00 work

6:25-6:35 get home.

Usually go to bed between 11:30 PM - 12:30 AM
