So... I work in a rather big building with multiple businesses as tenants.
I've noticed a few things that strike me as odd:
1: Our floor has a large kitchen/break room. I used to put my stuff in the fridge, until I noticed random items slowly disappearing. In other words, people were eating my food. Strange. Now I just keep a cooler in my office.
2: People... *ahem* doing things in the bathroom stalls... Clearly audible, and I've even purposely coughed or made a noise to indicate my presence, but their activities continued regardless. Again, odd, and kind of gross, really...
I had another one but it slips my mind.
Anyone else work in a similar building experience these things?

I've had lunches stolen, but never heard anything unusual in a bathroom. That would be odd to me.

Those strange noises in the bathroom are just the lunch thieves trying to scarf down the OP's lunch before they get caught... Clearly the best way ahead is to bust down the stall door while yelling, GOT YOU SUUUCKA!!! Feel free to add 'Merica to that as well.

We have about 400 people on 3 floors, just us, and we still have stolen lunch problems. Have never experiencee that bathroom behavior, though. Thankfully .

Having lunch or items stolen from the kitchen refrigerator has happened no matter where I've worked. One time, someone stole the cold cuts I bought at lunch, even though my name was clearly marked on the bag.
The only odd thing in a bathroom to occur was there was a woman who worked in the cafe in our building, and we were on the same pee schedule - 11:30 AM - and she would always be having a lively conversation with someone on her cell phone while sitting in the stall. Note to self: Never ask to borrow her phone to make a call. [why is there no "ick!" emoticon?]

1. I have heard of this, but haven't ever lost a lunch myself...
2. I don't care who is in the bathroom, if I pass gas I PASS GAS. Yeah, I'm a guy and understand we have to make "Nice-Nice" for the others, but if I'm in the bathroom, I'll do what I care to and won't hold back....
Be thankful. I used to work at a place where people pooped on the floor of the bathroom or on the toilet seat. You could walk in there and there it was. I think they thought they were "getting back" at the company or some nonsense like that.

I'm not talking about pooping. LOL. Use your imagination a bit.
