Are there any low stress jobs that pay $15-20/hr? I'm talking about jobs where you actually have control over what you are doing and don't have to juggle 10 tasks at once.

(I'm afraid of heights, so tower climbing is out.)

What type of jobs do you consider too stressful?

I don't know anything about it from the inside, but the claims people at the insurance companies seem to have a pretty chill job.

I think it pays pretty decent too.

Any job where I have "juggle" multiple tasks at once or remember a ot of details from different jobs at once. Drives me mad.

When I was a mover at a moving company, it paid over $15 per hour and there was almost no multi-tasking. I only had to deal with what was directly in front of me and how to get it in or out. To me, it was low stress (at least mentally).

I can't see movers making more than minimum wage. It's a no-skill job. And my back would probably be destroyed after a short while.

Why do you think that would be a low stress job? I'm sure they have to handle many claims at once.

So, to recap....

you want a job that
- is low stress
- pays $15 and hour or more
- gives you total control
- has no multitasking
- does not involve heights
- is so simplistic that you do not have to remember a lot of details
- won't hurt your back.

Maybe you can start a pet sitting business??

I don't know if any of that is true. Moving things without hurting yourself is a skill and if you watch experienced movers, they have it.
