Sometimes I get clients with concerns about this but:

Does anyone have concerns about recruiters "aging you out" of a potential job due to your age/experience level (or compensation as a result of your age).

Do you feel it is fair or unfair to leave several years of employers off your resume?
Leaving off the year of college graduation is a similar example as well.

Where do you feel it is fair to draw the line.

Mod cut.

It's perfectly fair to hide your age.

Almost impossible to do ~ I'm 66 college educated and unemployed all apps are online now and many ask you where and when you went to HS and College ~ dead give away as to how old you are and I never even get called for an interview even though I'm qualified to do the job

Leaving older jobs off isn't "lying". My resume has about the past ten years on it. I don't see any point in listing every job I've ever had. And if someone asks for that, that's a red flag... why would you care what I did 30 years ago?

I agree with this. If everything you put down is correct, you aren't lying. I also don't include everything on my resume, but it has nothig to do with wanting to hide my age. The older stuff just isn't relevant to what I am doing now.

Well, you can list "relevant job experience" and "relevant education" if you have something in your earlier years that doesn't matter for the position you are currently applying. My 1986 masters' degree in natural sciences isn't relevant to my current accounting work, but my 2008 bachelor's in accounting and 2011 MBA are .
